On the way to Camp Vinson Lowe (Emily Johnston)

IMG Senior Guide Justin Merle checked in this afternoon to let us know the team is doing great! They arrived in Union Glasser yesterday and remained on their way to Vinson’s main camp. This is fantastic news because there are so many logistical details that need to be there to make it happen. Everything is fine, and after their flight from Ponta Arenas through the Union Glacier, the team had a quick dinner, then jumped on the twin otters with their belongings and headed to Vinson’s main camp. Last night they worked at Camp 1 and organized the equipment to go to Camp 1 today. Carrying is what they did. “It was a good day to carry, a little foggy but good enough to move,” Justin said. The weather forecast for the coming days looks good and we look forward to hearing more good news from the team tomorrow!

Everything is fine for Vinson!
