Chain storms have deposited new snow on the mountain over the past few weeks. Skiers and snowboarders have used the clear weather between the systems to start their winter season. On Saturday, October 30, the upper part of Paradise was filled until 10:30 a.m., mostly with snow sliders. Conditions at this time of year are always a mixed bag and the cover is usually stained at best.

Paradise trails are still visible in most places with very slippery ice cubes. Skiers / Bourdieu mostly carried their equipment to the top of Panorama Point.
