Cotopaxi (Jorge Anhalzer)

IMG guides Kim Siradzki and Romulo Cardenas arrived from Ecuador to let us know that they had a great night of rest and recovery last night at the Papallacta hot springs. After a wet and cold climb from Cayambe, it is good to melt and rejuvenate the body in the famous hot springs of Papallacta. Reports indicate that the team took advantage of several opportunities before and after dinner, as well as being immersed in the morning before heading to the next destination.

Lunch in Chillo Jijon Hacienda (Romulo Cardenas)

On the way to our next stop for the night, the team had lunch at a beautiful old Hacienda called Chillo Jijon. A great lunch and sightseeing in Hacienda was followed by a quick drive to Cotopaxi and Hacienda Loa Mortinos. This Hacienda has great views of Cotopaxi and is a great place to climb. They will now be in the position of Cotopaxi and are looking forward to climbing again!
