Movie Review: Horn

Saving the mountain is hard work.

People are lost. People are injured. The people are dead and the rescuers must go out and try to deal with the situation in any situation imaginable. This is an incredibly difficult task. And in the United States, most people involved in mountain rescue are volunteers.

The situation is different in the European Alps. People are still missing, people are still injured and people are still dying, but those who are involved in rescuing the mountain are professionals. They have advanced training, advanced helicopters and advanced rescue equipment. They are truly some of the best mountain rescuers in the world. And they should be, because at the height of the season, a rescue team may see 20 calls a day. It is no different than being a rescuer at a fire station in a small town!

Here it is Horn –A great documentary series on Netflix – At the main base of Air Zermatt, a mountain rescue unit equipped with an advanced helicopter begins.

Air Zarmat consists of pilots, doctors, mountain rescue specialists, rescuers, helicopter technicians and mountain guides. They are located at the foot of the Matterhorn in the mountain village of Zermatt, a place where thousands of people climb, ski, base jump and get injured in the mountains every year.

The team oscillates between high-risk mountain rescue and skiing. But no matter how injured a person is, or where they stand, the team works perfectly like a Swiss watch. It is incredibly interesting to see a mountain rescue operation like this.

بوق Produced by Red Bull TV, an online television platform. The move from Red Bull’s high-octane streaming site to Netflix shows how outdoor adventure sports are slowly making their way into our national consciousness. It also raises the risk issues that surround adventure sports. These issues can lead to tough questions from outside the world of adventure sports.

Whenever there is an accident in the mountains, people ask, “Who pays for this?” They ask, “Who pays for the rescue?” Their concern is that taxpayers pay for adventure sports. The downside of a set like this is that it shows the glamorous helicopters operated by a private company that provides rescue services in the Alps. I can imagine that the ignorant believe that this series is also a reflection of how things are going in the United States.

This is not.

The Alps and rescue services are completely different there. As mentioned above, in the United States, rescue is primarily facilitated by volunteers. There are professional rescuers in the United States, and depending on the organization, they may be taxed a few dollars. But even then, most of the hours spent in rescue are still done by volunteers.

One thing is clear, regardless of the rescue policy. بوقA beautiful TV series has been produced. The scenery of the surrounding mountains is incredible. The story of the rescuers is incredibly fascinating. And the tension is palpable about some of the things that the Air Zermatt team has to deal with. This is an incredible show and it’s worth the time!
