The Mexican team checked this morning to let us know they are on the move! IMG Senior Guide Dr. Emily Johnston informed us that the team woke up early for breakfast and headed for the Cortes Pass and the Iztaccihuatl entrance (17,159 minutes). When the team arrives at the park entrance, they meet with our local guide and set up camp. Another walk this afternoon puts the team in the top position for greater adaptation. This is a great climb and the team can see another beautiful volcano called Popocatepetl (17802 minutes). After climbing Iztaccihuatl, the team goes to Puebla and is ready to climb Pico de Orizaba, the third highest mountain in North America at 18,491 feet!
